When the PlayStation 4 was first released in 2013, it was a leap ahead from the PlayStation 3.

The first thing about the DualSense 5 controller that had me sold was the adaptive triggers on the R2 and L2 buttons. I found this highly useful in games such as The Last of Us Part II Remastered, which was made with the new controller in mind. Every weapon feels different with this controller. Haptic Feedback
Another thing that I found absolutely amazing about the DualSense 5 was the haptic feedback the controller gave you as you played your favorite games. All the previous controllers in the PlayStation series had standard rotating vibrators that gave a uniform vibration as you played games.
The DualSense 5 took a futuristic approach as it has a technical mechanism for all its vibrations depending on the situation in a game. For instance, at the start of The Last of Us II, with all the snow, the controller vibrates differently, giving you an immersive experience of the game.
Similarly, you can also experience haptic feedback while you play Gran Turismo 7. The controller vibrates differently according to the condition of the road. If the road is smooth, the vibration is going to be smooth and uniform, too. If the road has bumps, the controller vibrations will mimic the bumps as well.
A Futuristic Design
If you put all the existing PlayStation controllers together, the DualSense 5 will be the one that stands out the most. Though it’s pretty hefty in size, it’s definitely a good-looking controller. The best part is that Sony has released the controller in a plethora of colors and limited editions.

Better Battery Timing
The DualSense 5 takes the lead in terms of the battery as well. Previously, the DualShock 4 gave us around 4 hours of battery life on one complete charge. Honestly, at that time, it seemed more than enough for us, and we were sort of getting used to that since it seemed like a lot.
Then the DualSense 5 stepped into the game, and the controller came with a staggering battery that gave us 6 hours of playtime! This is more than enough for any gamer out there, and the best part is that the Type-C cable gives you quicker and more efficient charging.
That explains why the PlayStation 5 series has an expensive price tag.
